Keeping detailed notes about your leads and contacts is the best way to remember how you know them, what their hobbies are, what their real estate goals are and what types of things to talk to them about! If you haven't spoken to them in a while, your notes will make follow-ups a breeze.

There are 2 Ways to add Notes to a contact record.

**Whether you add notes from the 'Interaction' section or the 'Notes' section, all notes will display as a list in the 'Notes' section.**

From the 'Interaction' Section

1. Type Your Note

In the field provided under the 'Notes' tab, type your note. You can also mention users with '@' on notes and they'll be notified via email and the bell in Brivity.

2. Mark as 'Important'

Starred notes will always show up at the top of the 'Notes' section.

3. Click 'Save'

When ready, click on 'Save'.

From the 'Notes' Section

The 'Notes' section is located on the left side panel, below 'Relationships'.

1. Click on '+ADD'

To add a new note for this contact, click the '+ADD' button.

2. Type your Note

3. Mark as 'Important'

Starred notes will always show up at the top of the 'Notes' section.

4. Click on 'SAVE'

When ready, click on 'Save'.

5. Edit, Star or Delete

You can 'Edit', 'Star' or 'Delete' a note directly from the Notes panel.
